Tanzania Contemporary Art Foundation (TZCAF) is an independent, non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary African art through exhibitions, educational programs, research initiatives and publications.

Based in Dar es Salaam, TZCAF’s objective is to be the leading cultural institution in Tanzania for the collection, preservation, research and development of modern and contemporary African art; the curation of transformative cultural programming and the advancement of underrepresented visual artists.
